The danger of fire and explosion

The Source of Fire

Electrostatic spraying is a high-voltage electrostatic phenomenon, so it will actively generate static electricity.

When the paint flows through the pump and hose, it also generates static electricity. If all parts of the

spraying machine and all the metal materials around it are not grounded properly, electrostatic sparks will

be generated. This spark may ignite volatile components of solvents, atomized paint particles and other

combustibles, causing fire or explosion, causing major personal accidents and machine damage.

Please confirm the grounding of the sprayer and all metal materials around it and the sprayed objects.

If not grounded, fire or explosion may be caused by electrostatic sparks.

Good ventilation should be ensured at the atomization site and around the spraying device.

In electrostatic spraying operation, do not make the high-voltage electrodes at the top of the spraying gun

and its surrounding parts close to or touch the sprayed objects and grounding objects. The inadvertent use

of a malfunctioning spray gun may result in larger sparks. Moreover, nozzles and electrodes may be damaged.

When interrupting or completing the spraying operation, please cut off the power supply of the electrostatic

generator. After waiting for 5 seconds, contact the corona needle at the top of the spraying gun with the

ground wire or metal material for more than 10 seconds to release the residual charge.

In the radius range of 7-8 m from atomization site, do not plug and pull the power plug of spraying machine or electrical equipment.

Do not spray in open fire or near light bulbs or other sources of ignition.

Smoking is strictly prohibited at atomization spraying site.

When using spraying equipment, if you feel any electrostatic shock, please stop spraying immediately and check the grounding condition of each part.

Do not start the spraying operation until the cause is identified and the corresponding measures are taken.

Damage to power and connection wires can cause sparks, and there is a risk of fire or explosion. So please protect the cable from damage.

In atomizing spraying operation site, fire extinguishers with sufficient fire extinguishing capacity must be equipped.

《grounding》

In order to prevent the danger caused by static electricity, the conductive substances of all metal materials stored in the atomizing spraying operation site (objects in use or nearby spraying rooms, hooks, sprayed objects, pumps, spraying machines, spraying devices, fire extinguishers, floor materials, etc.) should be earthed. If there is no proper grounding object, please follow the grounding method stipulated in the technical standard of electrical equipment and carry out grounding construction (type A grounding = less than 10Q).
